This World War II poster was illustrated by Dick Williams for the U.S. Department of Agriculture. I removed the original green background and added my own textured one. The original had fold marks and banding in many areas – I removed these flaws using Photoshop’s clone stamp. In addition, a textured background (outside the green area) was created to achieve the desired format and eliminate the need for frame matting. 11×14″ framed prints of this image (final, formatted one) were sold at a well-known home decor retailer.
